European Elections
27 countries got involved in the election on 4th of  June 2009.  The results were known on Sunday 7th of June.  The term of office of European Parliament is 5 years long.  Some of the elected candidates came from the right wing.

The Conservative Party won in the North West Region earning 25,6 % votes (3 seats: Robert Atkins, Sajjad Karim, Jacqueline foster), followed by Labour Party with 20,4% votes (elected: Arlene McCarthy), UK Independence Party with 15,8% (elected: Paul Nuttall), Liberal Democrats—14,3% (Chris Davies) and British National Party—8% (Nick Griffin).  There is a “Hope Not Hate” campaign started to prevent the right wing candidate Nick Griffin from representing United Kingdom.  To sign a petition visit the ‘campaigns’ website here
The British National Party opposes mass immigration and “surrender” to European Union. 

The first direct election to European Parliament took place in 1979.  Currently the sixth term of office came to an end. GET PREPARED FOR SWINE FLU
What is Swine Flu and how to protect yourself? There are May sources of information available. Sudden fever and sudden cough are main symptoms of a Swine Flu virus or Influenza A (H1N1). Other symptoms might include: aching muscles, chills, diarrhea, upset stomach, limb and joint pain, loss of appetite, runny nose, sore throat, sneezing and tiredness. This virus is easily spread. It is important that you wash your hands frequently. Each time you sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with clean tissue and bin it afterwards. The pandemic can come in winter. Persons with low immunity, children and the elderly are in the biggest danger. Everyone should set up a Swine Flu friends network.
