Sun 21st– Fri 26th	Congleton Food and Drink Festival SAMPLE LOCAL DELIGHTS IN CONGLETN The longest day in a year will welcome food lovers in Congleton and hopefully draw their attention for the whole week of Congleton Food & Drink Festival 2009. The Northwest is the largest food and drink producing region in England and Wales. In the North West alone, food and drink is worth over £9.5 billion to the economy, supporting 103,000 jobs. Congleton town will be staging it's first ever Food and Drink Festival this year on Sunday 21st June. Many local restaurants and pubs will have their own stall holders and wares will be found in the town market with something to match every taste. The youngest tasters can experience 'Eat Your Art Out' art activities program. The Festival will culminate with a Ceilidh dance on the Friday 26th night in the park and the annual Summer Beer Festival on Saturday 27th.
